Jameson Whiskey: California Edition Canister
Our friends at Jameson Whiskey reached out with an opportunity for us to design their Limited California Edition Collectible Canister. They asked us to capture the essence of California’s many neighborhoods, to create a visual love letter to the coastal state’s dynamic and diverse communities. From the hilly streets of San Francisco to the vibrant boardwalks of LA’s beaches, we knitted together a tapestry that celebrates the Golden State’s affinity for adventure, optimism, and celebration of West Coast living. The good life is sometimes best recognized with a toast among friends. Salud!

We made sure to call out California’s film industry with a small crew on set and a giant Jameson on-the-rocks as the star. Action!

The full artwork wraps around the cylindrical can, creating an endless undulating landscape that is easy to get lost in! The wavy composition is an ode to California’s winding coastal highways, San Francisco’s hilly neighborhoods, and one of the world’s most sought-after surfing spots. Hang ten, baby!
We enjoyed channeling carefree, positive vibes into the design’s various characters. Each character lives their best life and takes their passion seriously!

The color palette not only include Jameson’s brand of green, but also complementary warm tones that allude to California’s warm weather and majestic sunsets.
