Clean Energy Brand Animation

Reducing carbon emissions is a critical effort across the globe, and Clean Energy leads those efforts by replacing diesel with renewable natural gas (RNG). We worked with DKNG and Cook’n’Judd to create an animation that highlights Clean Energy’s impact in making a healthier planet.

Storyboard Art

DKNG led the art direction for this project, providing us with some initial style frames and a color palette. From there, we created the rest of the artwork to match their style while meticulously adhering to various design rules, from consistent stroke widths to shading systems. The challenge was to create assets that could be animated efficiently while still fitting in with the established art direction.

Storyboard Sketches

We always begin our animation process by reviewing our client’s script and assessing their visual needs and requirements. The next step involves sketching storyboards so that our client can know what to expect for each scene regarding content and composition. Some of the below scenes did not make the cut because our client needed the product to be portrayed in a specific way.
